The inspiration for this site was going through
a record collection and thinking about some of the bands and artists "Whatever happened
to them? Have they disappeared into a drug-fuelled haze or are they still
making music for devoted fans?"
Some bands and artist still feature regularly in the media but some never do - they
are 'Off The Radar'. The aim of this website is to give some information about
some of these.

We have not tried to define what we mean by 'Off The Radar' here. Someone
who was forgotten by almost everyone last week could be front-page news next week.
Some bands and artists featured here could be well-known to some and completely
unknown to others.
We aim to make this project very much a wiki project with people able to update
the content themselves. However we are in the process of building the site so mistakes
will happen.
We try to keep all the information accurate and
up-to-date but cannot accept any responsibility for any errors.
